Mother and Son Team

Diane Shapley-Box created Apple Pie Publishing in 2008. She has created 9 books and has won international, national and state awards on her art and children's book series. All of Diane's artwork done by hand. Her husband Kevin and other talented family members have contributed to bring exceptional stories to young children.

Patrick Ackerman, Diane's son joined the team in 2019 and has added his artwork and books to the Apple Pie Publishing collection. Patrick is also an award winning artist and his first book "Clyde the Crawfish King" features vibrant hand painted images and a delightful story.
